Sean Earp leads carbon credit sales, project pre-finance and advisory work across Value Network Ventures' portfolio in South and Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East, working with corporate buyers, institutional investors and intermediaries on offtake agreements and pre-finance arrangements. VNV is a global project developer mobilising carbon finance for community-rooted climate adaptation at scale, reaching over 7 million households and restoring more than 1 million hectares across 15+ countries. The offtakes and pre-finance Sean structures fund mangrove restoration, agroforestry and rural energy access years before the first credits are issued. Before VNV he was Head of Strategic Climate Partnerships at Ecologi. Across his work he makes the same case: carbon finance delivers when the communities restoring the land are partners in the economics of it.
