Gareth Hughes co-founded Green Gold Forestry Peru S.A. in 2008, and is the Group CEO. GGF is now Peru’s largest forest owner with 460,000ha, and is one of the world’s leading private sector conservation projects. Gareth has lived in Peru since 1993 and has been engaged in forestry since 2002. He served as President of the British Peruvian Chamber of Commerce for seven years and was awarded an OBE in 2004 for his achievements in this role.
Gareth holds a BSc in Business Studies from Oxford Brookes University.
