Maria Eugenia Filmanovic is the co-founder of Abatable. Prior to founding Abatable, Maria Eugenia worked as a Vice President of ESG & Impact Investing at Goldman Sachs where she was part of the Imprint Capital impact investing advisory business (acquired in 2015 by GSAM). She was part of a 3-person team investing in emerging markets forestry with a focus on structuring carbon offsetting procurement contracts on behalf of large global corporations and in partnership with a conservation not-for-profit. While at Goldman Sachs, she also developed GSAM's investment thesis on carbon removal technologies.
