Judith Helfmann is Senior Policy Adviser at Phineo gAG on secondment on behalf of the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Judith studied international law in Germany and China. She worked in international relations and specialized in international & development finance. Positions included the Federation of German Industries EY, KfW Banking Group and GIZ. From 2011-2020 she successfully developed the markets and countries strategy at Afrika Verein (German-African Business Association) as Head of Investment & Development Policy. Judith also built up an international reputation as mediator and high-level moderator for events up to Heads of State level like the G 20 Investment Summits in Germany in 2018 and 2019.
