Floor is an experienced Fund Manager with a history of working in impact investing and has been increasingly active in Forestry investing. Having worked at FMO is various positions in Special Operations and restructuring, and Private Equity Investing, Floor is currently responsible for two large Blended Finance Programmes that are funded respectively by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UK Government. Building Prospects invests in the Agriculture Value Chain and supporting infrastructure, and has been instrumental in developing the Forestry strategy at FMO. FMO’s experience in investing in Forestry in Developing countries has led to a new partnership with the UK Government, through the Mobilising Finance for Forests Programme. Both programmes aspire to mobilise private sector finance by taking a higher risk position in investment opportunities.
