Hans brings over 30 years of operational and C-suite experience in corporate law, banking, and impact finance across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. He has lived and worked in the Netherlands, Singapore, and Jakarta, gaining deep expertise in international markets and sustainable finance. Before joining Lestari Capital, Hans was an international Mergers & Acquisitions lawyer at Loyens & Loeff before transitioning to Rabobank Group, where he held various local, regional, and global leadership roles. As part of Rabobank's "Growing a Better World Together" strategy, Hans developed a strong passion for climate and impact finance. He led the incorporation and operational launch of the $1 billion AGRI3 Fund, an initiative aimed at combating global deforestation. Throughout his career, he has specialised in bridging strategy development with seamless execution, ensuring operational excellence on the ground. Hans holds a Master’s degree in Law from Leiden University and several postgraduate & executive education certificates.
