With over two decades of experience in sustainability, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement, Cherie Tan has dedicated her career to advancing sustainable agriculture, forest conservation, and climate adaptation, particularly across Asia. Her work bridges corporate strategy with field-based impact, driving collaborations with governments, NGOs, and private sector leaders to strengthen resilience in both communities and ecosystems.

Currently, Cherie supports Kaleka as a senior advisor, guiding strategic initiatives that position forest landscapes as essential solutions for climate resilience and biodiversity. Kaleka is dedicated to empowering local communities and protecting vital ecosystems in Indoesia, and Cherie’s advisory role helps amplify this mission. In addition, she consults for various organizations and companies, including the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), on regenerative agriculture and food systems transformation.
