Johan is co-founder and COO of ValueNature: Having developed scientifically robust biodiversity metric and measurement standards, enlisting best practice, cost effective survey methodologies, ValueNature’s mission is to become the first fully transparent and trusted Biodiversity Credit issuer, ensuring investments deliver exceptional biodiversity and social returns that are measurable, verifiable and reportable. Johan also co-founded and leads Wildlife ACT, a Southern Africa based threatened species conservation organisation. Johan holds a master’s degree in development finance.
