Miguel Angel is a Senior Expert on Property Finance & Investment. In 2023 he has been appointed Managing Director of Carbon2Nature, to found and lead the new business of Iberdrola to develop Nature Based Solutions. Working in Iberdrola since 2007, he previously worked as Director of International Market of Iberdrola Inmobiliaria, the Real Estate Branch of Iberdrola, and as a Director of Portfolio and Business Expansion Area since 2010. After that experience on corporate real estate and land management business, he moved to Avangrid, subsidiary company of Iberdrola in USA in 2017, where he was working as Senior Director of Building Asset Management, until 2020 when was promoted to Vice President of General Services, in charge of Buildings, Land Management, Environmental, Fleet, Business Services and Performance Analytics.
Miguel Angel has a Degree on Political Science and Administration, a Degree on Laws, an MBA Public Administration, an MBA Real Estate Land Management, and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
He is an international multicultural and diverse leader focused on people. Agile and innovative hard team worker. Out of his regular job, he worked as a professor in MBA at Universidad Europea de Madrid, IE and Colegio de Arquitectos de Madrid. He also managed projects for International Cooperation in Africa for Manos Unidas and for MundiAdopta, an NGO focused on children in Ethiopia, Uganda, Mali and Senegal
