Just Climate

Justin joined Just Climate in April 2022 as a Partner and Head of Partnerships. He is focused on leading the development of a new investment strategy for Nature. He has been focused on the interlinked challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss and food system transformation for more than 25 years. Most recently, he was the Executive Director of the Tropical Forest Alliance, a public-private partnership of more than 150 organisations focused on ending deforestation hosted by the World Economic Forum. He also served as Co-Chair of the NCS Alliance focused on ensuring high integrity in carbon markets. He previously held executive level positions at The Nature Conservancy, where he established and led the organization’s natural climate solutions work; and at BP Alternative Energy, where he founded and led BP Ventures.

He was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Jubilee Honours in 2022 for services tackling climate change and support to COP26. He currently serves as Chairman of the Trust for Oxfordshire’s Environment pioneering Biodiversity Net Gain efforts in the south of England and is on the Advisory Board of the Leverhulme Centre for Nature Recovery at the University of Oxford.
