Guilherme is a Principal in AFRY Management Consulting’s Forestry, Biomass and Carbon team, based in London/UK. Since joining AFRY, he has advised clients worldwide, focusing on forest and carbon investments, market studies, strategy development, and process improvement. He is particularly interested in the role of natural and plantation forests in addressing climate change while supplying wood for the growing demand of sustainable materials. Before joining AFRY, Guilherme worked in the pulp and paper industry in Brazil and acquired hands-on experience in areas such as forest management, wood supply, forest inventory, and process improvement.

He holds a BSc in Forestry from UFPR (Brazil), an MBA from FGV (Brazil), and a Diploma in Economics from Birkbeck University (UK).
