Yunae Nam

Ms. Yunae Nam is a Project Leader from SK forest (SK Group) which is part of Global Fortune 100 corporation with annual revenues in excess of USD 120 billion. She originates, develops, and implements carbon projects, focusing on forestry areas with the potential to engage with ocean projects. Currently, she is working on regional REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) and Afforestation/Reforestation projects globally in Asia and Africa through a voluntary carbon market.
Previously, Ms. Nam has worked with the Korean Government and Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in the fields of low carbon strategy, sustainable development, carbon finance, and climate change policy in Asia and the Pacific. She has extensive experience in donor engagement, capacity building, and public-private partnerships in the climate finance sector.
Ms. Nam holds a master’s degree in development studies from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
