Mo Safdar is Head of Origination at Climate Impact Partners, where he leads the pipeline development, structuring, and execution of carbon investments across Africa, Latin America and Asia. He has originated and closed both long term investments and offtake agreements with some of the largest corporate and institutional actors in the carbon space, having worked on projects that will generate several million carbon credits over their lifetime. He is responsible for ensuring CIP's project pipeline is commercially aligned to its book of corporate and institutional clients, managing the interface between supply origination and demand across the business.

Prior to CIP, Mo spent a decade leading origination at Africa Renewables Group, building and scaling physical commodity export operations across West Africa.
