Vitalija Lavreckyte is the Head of Carbon Finance at Belgian NGO WeForest. WeForest is a frontline non-profit organization restoring and conserving forests worldwide, taking a holistic, landscape-scale approach to maximise the impact of trees for people, nature, and climate. Vitalija leads WeForest's work on carbon market access, structuring, transactions and buyer partnerships. Her expertise spans both demand and supply side for the voluntary carbon market, and her recent focus has been on ensuring quality and long-term sustainability of nature-based interventions.
