As Director of Certification at Verra, Manish Neupane leads the global certification of Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) projects under the VCS, CCB, and SD VISta standards. He oversees a multidisciplinary team responsible for ensuring environmental and social integrity while enabling high-quality climate finance at scale. He also leads the development and implementation of data-driven, risk-based certification approaches that enhance efficiency, strengthen oversight, and uphold the credibility of nature-based carbon and biodiversity outcomes.

Manish brings over 15 years of international experience in climate finance, certification systems, and institutional capacity building. He has led assurance and certification programs across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, with a focus on strengthening certification frameworks, managing risk, and enabling investment in high-integrity natural climate solutions that deliver measurable climate, biodiversity, and community benefits.
