A Tree Grower since an early age with a combined indigenous and scientific knowledge. A Forestry/Agroforestry professional with 20 years of practical work and leadership experience in Africa. My career and passion merged with specific interests in forest landscape restoration (FLR) initiatives including practical regenerative reforestation techniques such as FMNR, reGreening approaches, nature-based and market-led solutions to biodiversity sustainability and renewable energy. Chairman/Founder Green Planet Initiative 2050 which is endorsed by the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration as an official partner (Restoration Implementer 2021-2030). GPI2050 has aggregated farming communities to co-create more productive and resilient landscapes and agricultural systems, whilst providing small-scale farmers, pastoralists and forest-dependent communities with improved and diversified livelihoods, fostering ‘green’ rural economic growth, and accelerating ecosystem restoration.
