John Atkinson is Associate Director in AstraZeneca’s Global Environment Protection team. He is leading AstraZeneca’s AZ Forest Programme which aims to plant and maintain 2030 million trees worldwide by the end of 2030, and is implementing nature-based approaches to tackle environmental issues and improve health and social outcomes. John has 15+ years’ experience working on environmental issues, including sustainable food production, resource efficiency, responsible sourcing and nature restoration.
