The Arbor Day Foundation's mission is simple: we inspire people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. As Managing Director of Carbon Markets, I lead carbon credit transactions, carbon project investments, strategic partnerships, strategic initiatives, and future horizon planning at Arbor Day Carbon, a wholly owned venture of the Foundation. Our purpose is to plant and nurture new trees through people and partnerships. During my tenure with the Foundation, we have rapidly enhanced the development of existing and new forestry carbon projects, become a trusted resource for corporate sustainability leaders, and serve on many influential carbon market shaping collaborations. From 2020-2023, I was elected to ICROA's Accreditation Committee and acted as the Vice Chair in 2022 and Chair in 2023.
