Cate is Vice President of Development & Communications at Trees for the Future (TREES), where she leads the partnerships, philanthropy and communications needed to mobilize resources behind farmer-led restoration and rural prosperity across Africa. Cate believes lasting change happens when people with different perspectives, resources and experiences find common ground around a shared ambition.

Prior to TREES, Cate founded &co, a partnership consultancy working across health, education, conservation and economic opportunity. At PSI, she led global corporate partnerships and helped create Maverick Collective, a women-led philanthropic community investing in women’s health. Her career began in advertising, leading major global brands across Europe and Northeast Asia, before a move to Botswana sparked a lasting shift toward social impact.
