Cakey Worthington

Cakey Worthington is the Director of Forest Carbon for The Forestland Group, a timberland investment management organization specializing in natural forest management. Cakey directs the management of forest carbon projects on properties in The Forestland Group’s portfolio. She collaborates with internal sustainability, valuation, forest management, impact, and transactions teams as well as external carbon project developers, contractors, registries, and California’s Air Resources Board. Cakey holds a B.S. in Biology from Davidson College. She earned a Master of Environmental Management and a Master of Forestry from the Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment. Prior to TFG, Cakey was the Director of Implementation for Bluesource LLC, a leading carbon offset developer.
