Dr. Mäkinen has over 15 years of professional experience in developing and commercialising digital solutions for forestry, as well as in related consulting. Prior to AFRY, Dr. Mäkinen was the founder and the CTO of Simosol, a leading forest IT solutions provider, which was acquired by AFRY in 2021.
