Wikkie Netten is the APAC Marketing Manager for PEFC, a leading global alliance promoting sustainable forest management and transparent and traceable supply chains through certification. Her work is focused on developing regional partnerships, engage with the private sector and assisting businesses who choose to use materials obtained from forests in a sustainable way in the future.
Wikkie has established her reputation as an environmentalist that conceptualize and execute partnerships from start to finish, managing complex milestones while adapting to changes and shifting priorities.
Beginning her career as a goldsmith in Italy and used her creative approach when making a career shift using timber when arriving in Singapore in the nineties. She specialized in marketing which eventually led to 25+ years of experience in the textile, furniture, building, flooring and biomass industry.
She recently graduated from the Singapore Management University in Singapore in Sustainability in Businesses.
