Forestry traineeship at the Lower Saxony State Forest and doctoral studies at the University of Hamburg and the Thünen Institute of World Forestry, focusing on resource efficiency in tropical timber production in Suriname. Current areas of work: Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF), Nature Credits, and Integrated Fire Management.
