Shannon Smith is Chestnut Carbon’s Chief Commercial Officer. She leads the commercial organization responsible for all GTM activities including customer pipeline development and branding, for the Chestnut product line as well as their forest conservation membership program Forest Carbon Works. She brings 20 years of experience leading sales and marketing across a variety of industries including clean tech, fin tech and consumer goods. She was a consultant in McKinsey’s San Francisco office and an analyst at Morgan Stanley in NY. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Kellog Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She currently resides in NYC.
