Michiel Hendriksz

Since May 2016, Michiel has served as the Executive Director of FarmStrong Foundation, an organisation that designs, implements and monitors integrated sustainable agricultural production systems and climate-resilient rural development programs, predominantly in West Africa. Prior to FarmStrong, Michiel worked 16 years for the Archer Daniels Midland (ADM). His last position was Director of Sustainability for ADM Cocoa (2009-2015). He previously held trading roles such as the Head of Sourcing & Trading. Michiel has a B.Sc. in Tropical Agronomy and International Trade (Netherlands), a M.Sc. (Agri-Business) from Cranfield University (England), and a post-graduate Executive Education diploma from Harvard University’s, John F. Kennedy School of Government. He is fluent in Dutch, German, Spanish, French, Italian and English
