Michal has over 20 years of expertise working in the conservation, biodiversity and corporate sustainability space across Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America, stretching from the field to corporate boardrooms. He leads Lestari Capital’s strategy for the sustainable commodities sector, spearheading the conceptualisation, development and implementation of our innovative conservation finance mechanisms. Michal is an invited expert and representative on numerous technical and governance bodies for certification systems, including the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil and the Forestry Stewardship Council. Michal lives in Indonesia where he has worked extensively for the last ten years.
