Social Carbon addresses the current limitations of carbon and environmental asset markets by developing innovative methodologies and through technology that address the current key pain points.

Ian initially worked in finance in Wellington, London and New York before moving into climate and sustainability innovation in 2005. Over the last 20 years he has helped establish and run several entities across Europe, including as CEO of Climate-KIC, the world’s largest climate change innovation partnership. Before joining Social Carbon, Ian was supporting indigenous communities in the South Pacific to create programmes and investment vehicles to deliver their ambitions for nature and their communities.
