Gaurav Gupta is a Senior Specialist with the United Nations Environment Programme and leads the organisation’s new initiative on multi-jurisdictional financing mechanism for biodiversity and climate. Prior to joining UNEP in 2021, Gaurav led WWF’s landscape conservation programme in Myanmar for six years. Prior to that he worked with Barclays Investment Bank for several years. Gaurav has over 15 years of experience spread across biodiversity conservation, investment banking, digital, and poverty reduction in Asia and Africa.
