Chrissy Durkin, located in Austin, TX, is CDO of WildMon, a nonprofit organization working to bring the science behind scalable biodiversity monitoring technologies together. Chrissy has been working in ecoacoustics for over five years developing biodiversity monitoring strategies and collaborations with indigenous communities, corporations, NGOs, and governments. She studied Environmental Studies and Business at UCLA and has had a variety of experiences working in the environmental space. Chrissy has spent years lobbying on behalf of advanced biofuels, conducting field research on wolves and grizzlies, and developing several environmentally-minded startups.
