Bruce M. Kahn is a senior investment professional with over 20 years of experience spanning portfolio management, private equity, and sustainable finance. He co-founded a $250M clean-technology private equity fund at Deutsche Bank, has managed public equity portfolios of up to $480M, and designed the UN Principles for Responsible Investment curriculum used to train thousands of investment professionals worldwide. Dr. Kahn holds a PhD in Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where his research focused on quantifying environmental and social value creation, and has taught Sustainable Finance at Columbia University for over a decade. He began his career as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in the Republic of Cameroon, where he spent four years working directly with agricultural communities on natural resource management — experience that gives him firsthand perspective on the ecological and socioeconomic dynamics of the region. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the New York Institute for Special Education and has served on the boards of US SIF, Confluence Philanthropy, and the Robert and Patricia Switzer Foundation.Bruce M.
