Bengisu is a Sustainable Finance Officer at FMO, the Netherlands Development Bank. Her primary role is increasing FMO’s green finance in the agriculture, food and forestry sectors, with a focus focusing on nature finance. She has a background in development finance and climate strategy, having worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) prior to joining FMO. She has field experience in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Turkey. Bengisu has a master’s degree in Energy and Environmental Policy from the New York University.
