Sil Lanckriet is the co-founder of Climate Lab, a social enterprise developing community-based climate projects. Climate Lab partners with communities to restore ecosystems and build resilient livelihoods at the forefront of the climate crisis. Its first project – EthioTrees – was founded one decade ago, after Sil and co-founder Miro Jacob had done years of research in the project area. To date, EthioTrees keeps scaling on the ground, while tracking and sharing project impacts rigorously and transparently to ensure meaningful, lasting change.
