With over 25 years working in nature conservation, Sam has extensive experience in habitat management and environmental mitigation on projects of all scales. As the ecology, biodiversity, and arboriculture discipline lead for Balfour Beatty, Sam specialises in the protection and enhancement of the natural environment as an integral part of project delivery and is a contributor to several practitioner and technical standards working groups. Sam's focus is the strategic advancement of the nature agenda across the construction sector, promoting and developing methods for realising a nature-positive transition beyond business as usual.
