Michael has been working in the Voluntary Carbon Markets since 2017 with a focus on corporate offset strategy and project investments. Having previously lead the commercial team at South Pole in North America Michael is now a Vice President in Macquarie Group’s Global Carbon team, a vertically integrated business unit focusing on volulntary and compliance carbon markets globally. He is currently focused on sourcing and structuring carbon related investments in the Americas as well as buidling out Macquarie’s corporate distribution channels.
