Mads Asprem worked 20 years in equity markets, primarily in London, where he spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley and became a Managing Director. He was a top-ranked II forest equity analyst and headed the global forestry team.

He started his first company within a year of graduating from college. He founded Green Resources in 1995 and was CEO of the company from 2007 to 2016 while growing it to become Africa’s largest reforestation company, spearheading FSC in Africa (ex: South Africa) and registering the world’s first reforestation (A/R) carbon project.

Mads is currently working on bioenergy projects and has restarted a major ARR carbon removal and landscape restoration initiative.
