Dr Jack Lonsdale is a Senior Principal in AFRY Management Consulting’s Forestry and Biomass team. A senior forestry expert with a background and strong interest in the quantified forest: such as carbon accounting and growth and yield modelling. He joined AFRY in 2015 and has been providing support to clients globally regarding sustainable forest investments, operations, and strategy since then. Most recently he has been particularly focused on the role of digitalisation in forestry and how it can benefit multiple forest management goals, as well as the likely impact of climate change on forest productivity and the associated risks.
