Cecilia is Peruvian Forest Engineer with a master’s degree in social management. She has 12 years’ experience in issues related to sustainable environmental, agricultural and forest projects working for non-governmental organizations, private sector, and government organizations. Cecilia is an advocate to social issues on the projects she has been involved especially for gender mainstreaming.
In her previous position as Monitoring and Evaluation Manager and Gender Focal Point at Conservation International Peru her role was focused on the design and implementation of CI Peru M&E system and Gender Strategy for all CI Peru projects and she also led the execution of projects focused on women empowerment, gender, gender-based violence working with indigenous and local communities in the Peruvian Amazon. As Social Impact Manager , Cecilia leads and provides technical advice to forestry investments, so they meet CI social, gender and human rights safeguards to ensure allocating capital to appropriate investment opportunities in the nature-based solutions space that generate great social impact.
