Caleb Midgley

Senior Product Manager

Caleb Midgley is the Senior Product Manager for Sustainability at Descartes Labs. He is responsible for the development of a product portfolio that provides insights on deforestation and forest carbon changes utilizing novel techniques that fuse earth observation (EO) data with advanced artificial intelligence technologies. He joined Descartes Labs in 2022 and has led efforts in the commercialization of patent pending techniques in assessing forest carbon at scale enabling robust measurement, verification, and reporting for nature based projects. His background includes stints developing solutions in the agricultural technology space using a fusion of modeling and sensor techniques to generate optimized water management recommendations. Additionally, he has managed software-as-a-service platforms providing environmental risk support throughout his career.

Caleb holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from the University of Kansas and a Master of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from Texas Tech University.
