Nicholas de Swardt is the CEO of Cicada Group, bringing over 18 years of experience in finance and agriculture. He has spent the past eight years with Rift Valley Corporation and Cicada, following earlier roles at Moody’s in Structured Finance and PIMCO’s Structured Debt Advisory group in London. In addition to his financial background, Nicholas has hands-on experience managing commercial farming operations in Zimbabwe. He holds an MSc in Financial Mathematics from the University of Cape Town and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh.
