Laura is a Quantitative Analyst at holistiQ Investment Partners, the sustainable asset management platform of Lombard Odier Investment Managers powered by partnership with Systemiq.
Laura joined LOIM in 2020 and has been leading the geospatial research behind the development and implementation of LOIM proprietary tools for assessing companies’ exposure to and management of deforestation and physical risks.
Prior to joining LOIM, Laura worked at the World Wildlife Fund, where she played a key role on the publication of studies that demonstrated the use geo-spatial science for independent assessments of potential environmental risks associated with sovereign bonds and re/insurance transactions. Additionally, she led a data study group with the Alan Turin Institute focusing on how alternative data techniques could be utilized to identify emerging human threats in the protected area network.
She holds a Master of Science from the University of Lund on Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation with a specialization in Natural Resource Management.
