James is Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Cultivo. James is a nature lover and technology entrepreneur with more than two decades experience building data-driven technology ventures, with the last ten years focused in the impact and sustainability space.

James was part of the executive management team at Sensyne Health, a digital health and clinical AI business which listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2018, where he ran their environmental monitoring products focusing on air pollution. Prior to that, James built digital ventures for large corporations including BBC Worldwide and Shell, and he has been part of the leadership teams at several venture backed start-ups.

James is passionate about tackling the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity loss, which led him to co-found Cultivo in 2019. Cultivo is a nature tech company unlocking investment into nature at scale to regenerate the world’s lands into healthy ecosystems.
