Elmedina is a Director for Climate and Nature Finance at Palladium. She possesses 17 years of experience in introducing innovative solutions for sustainable land management, tackling environmental and social risks, crafting blended finance strategies, and navigating nature and climate finance. She has collaborated with UN organizations and international financial institutions like the World Bank, IFC, and EBRD in Southeast Europe, Southeast and Central Asia, and Latin America. Elmedina managed a global program on increasing the ambition and outcomes of restoration and other Nature-based Solutions and directed IUCN's global forest, climate, and sustainable finance portfolio primarily through innovative and impactful investment funds such as the Nature+ Accelerator Fund ($200M) and the Subnational Climate Fund ($750M).
