GreenEco Investments

LLC "GreenEco Investments" was first presented at SPIEF (St. Petersburg International Economic Forum) within the business dialogue "Decarbonization in the Industrial Sector" as a company focused on the implementation of Russian and foreign projects in the field of energy transition. According to the results of the SPIEF, 4 agreements of mutual understanding were signed with Tyumen, Yaroslavl, Kostroma regions and Perm Krai to implement forestry projects.

The company aims to create an infrastructure for objective measurement of existing CO2 emissions, implement climate projects in Russia and the world in order to increase the absorption of greenhouse gases by natural ecosystems, and develop tools to reduce CO2 emissions, as well as marketing and trading carbon credits and certificates.

Forest-climatic project: At the moment, the implementation of forest-climatic projects is working closely with the regional authorities to select forest areas that meet all the technical criteria for the subsequent lease. Over 700 thousand hectares of the forest lands in the Tyumen region have already been selected. The projects are being implemented in accordance with the methodologies of the certifying organization Verra. Russian-Swedish-German team is working on the project

Measuring and reduction of emissions: this includes work on CO2 emissions inventory, implementation of climatic strategies for oil and gas companies (development of recommendations, search and choice of technologies for reducing CO2 emissions). Currently a pilot project is being implemented together with Socar at ANPZ (Antipinsky Oil Refinery in Tyumen). The project is being implemented with expert support from Alexander Samorodov.

Marketing and Trading: Lining up business processes for carbon credit trading and Carbon-neutral products Climate project on preservation and restoration of wetlands and peat deposits: we see you as a leading expert in the implementation of this project. At the moment we have conducted consultations on the possibility of realization of these projects in a number of regions of the Russian Federation. We are selecting and working out the methodology according to which the project will be realized. While we lean towards the methodology of Verra VM0007. The project will be implemented both in specially selected areas, and as part of the implementation of forest-climatic projects in the regions with which we have already signed agreements of understanding.
