Blair is the Founder of Tāmata Hauhā and brings a diverse range of forestry and farming sector knowledge to the business. He has a proven track record of partnering with Whenua Māori to deliver impactful projects that benefit landowners and provide compelling returns to investors. Before Tāmata Hauhā, Blair worked for the Ministry of Primary Industries within Māori Agribusiness, developing best land use solutions, within local government and as Operations Manager for NZ Waterways Restoration. He is regarded as one of the most important leaders in New Zealand forestry and over the last decade has been active in advising Government Ministers on carbon forestry and Māori agribusiness.
