Araceli is the Carbon Markets and Business Performance Manager at Carbon2Nature. Her responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing carbon credit markets and developing internal procedures to ensure high quality in support of strategic decision-making. Araceli played an important role in the launch of Carbon2Nature while working at the climate change division of Iberdrola, within the Sustainability team. There, she conducted studies and projects to advance corporate climate action in-house and in collaboration with third parties. Before joining Iberdrola, Araceli worked as an environmental policy consultant in London and Madrid, after being policy Stagiaire at the European Commission. As a consultant, she managed contracts for European institutions, governments, and private clients, providing policy and strategic recommendations on sustainability across the energy and industrial sectors. Araceli holds a degree in environmental sciences and law, along with a master's qualification in business environmental management and energy business.
