Angie leads sustainability strategy for Suzano’s EMEA region, based in the Vienna office. In this role, she works at the intersection of sustainability, business strategy and stakeholder engagement, supporting customers and partners in addressing challenges related to climate, biodiversity and responsible fibre sourcing. She is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and connecting sustainability ambitions with business value in the region.

Angie has more than 10 years of experience in sustainability, having worked with the United Nations and multinational companies. She holds a PhD in Political Science with a focus on environmental governance and political ecology.

Suzano is the largest pulp producer in the world, the largest paper manufacturer in Latin America and leader in the toilet paper market in Brazil. Through responsible forest management, innovation and strong environmental and social commitments, the company is helping accelerate the transition towards a regenerative bioeconomy.
