Simon is the Chief Biodiversity Officer and co-founder of ValueNature. He helped to conceive the Biodiversity Credit architecture that they are developing and introducing to the voluntary ecological market. For the last 5 years he has been helping Stanford University bridge the gap between the conservation management and research communities, and is also an active director in the South African based threatened species conservation organisation he co-founded 14 years ago. Simon holds a PhD in conservation ecology.
