Bee Enterprise DMCC
Mounir Bouaziz is the founder of BEE ENTERPRISE, established after nearly 30 years with Royal Dutch Shell, where he served as a Senior Executive across MENA, South America, and Africa. He is recognized for significantly expanding Shell’s footprint through the identification, negotiation, and implementation of major ventures, and brings deep expertise in Upstream, Domestic Gas, and LNG developments.
Through BEE ENTERPRISE, Mounir is currently engaged in the advisory and development of energy projects with direct Climate Change impact. These include Nature-Based Solutions in Colombia, Argentina, and Spain, large gas flaring reduction projects in Venezuela and Iraq, and solar PV and biochar projects in North Africa.
In 2021, Mounir acquired land in Vichada, Colombia, where he planted half a million trees, recently generating and issuing carbon credits under Gold Standard. He went on to design and structure a much larger reforestation project, in partnership with forestry operator InverBosques, to plant 25 million trees. Building on these achievements, he is now launching the Bee Forest Restoration Fund LLP, a dedicated equity fund designed to attract a wider base of investors to replicate proven, benchmarkable climate projects similar to the above.
Mounir holds an engineering degree from the Grandes Écoles in Paris and an MBA from the United States. He is trilingual in English, French, and Arabic.
