Laure Bourgeois is a senior investment officer in the Agribusiness team at Proparco, the private sector arm of Agence Française de Dévelopment group, and is responsible for forestry investments. Over the last 9 years, Laure has been responsible for identifying and structuring debt financings to corporates in the agribusiness and forestry sector in developing countries with a focus on sustainable growth and contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), first from the Johannesburg office in South Africa and then from the head office in Paris. Prior to this, Laure worked in the carbon finance sector on the structuring of carbon funds in the MENA region.
