Karin Åström is a biologist and author currently working as Programme Developer at Rewilding Sweden. Karin has been running her own nature and environment information company, Miljöinformation AB, since the 1980ies, written books and educational material about nature and various environmental problems to different target groups since the early 1990ies. Karin has been the chairperson of Sweden's largest environment and nature youth organization and the vice president of Sweden's biggest nature conservation organization, the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, where she was the spokesperson on forests and forestry for four years.
